sociological work
His compositions are linked to experiences of human relationships, creative practices that cynically question (the scenarios, rituals, policies and backbone strategies of the social context). The almost imperceptible humor that is not oriented to make people laugh but to make them think. Tradition contradictory to geography and identity. Stereotypical image critical of his predecessors.

union of the old and the new
Confrontation with the modern world, with profound political transformations, with changing customs, with the generalization of consumption, with the empire of mass media, with cinema, with advertising and of course with his relationship with the temporality of art.

analytical-symbolic attitude
Analytical, visual artist, from the isolated object to the institution.

Modern and forward-looking work
His work can be located beyond the present time, it would be inscribed in the universal and is a visionary that can be identified with tradition.

appropriation and representation
He places his characters in theatrical scenes and on other occasions affirming their presence and their truth. The artist recognizes that there is a mystery, something implicit in his representations of these women and men in their authenticity. For this reason, it leads him to make a social, ironic criticism of forgotten people or those with clouded minds.

digging into the past
More than painting things or situations, it is worth adding the concept of representation itself.

emotional language
Characterized by the broken balance, the harmony of forms and colour as an emotional expression. Works made in oil and paper on canvas and wood (collage).
